Although SeaDek® is designed to withstand a harsh marine environment, it is important to maintain and store it correctly. Under normal conditions, SeaDek®
is guaranteed for three years. If the boat is properly maintained, it is likely to last much longer.
As with any flooring product, dark colors get hotter in the sun. Thanks to the closed-cell characteristics of SeaDek®, the heat associated with any color will
dissipate quickly.
Yes, SeaDek® adheres very well to most molded anti-skid and aggregate anti-skid paints properly applied and maintained, provided the
surface is properly cleaned before installation.
SeaDek® is designed for semi-permanent installation, but can be removed. The best method is to use a plastic putty knife to get under a corner, then grasp and
remove it. If the PE/EVA seems to stick and tear, apply small amounts of acetone to the PSA and continue lifting with the putty knife.

Terms and Conditions
- The adhesion of SeaDek® coating to surfaces is guaranteed for 3 years by CMD Marine Products, but only if the installation is carried out by CMD Marine Products or by a certified network installer.
- Color delamination is also guaranteed for 3 years by CMD Marine Products.
- However, if the installation is carried out by the customer, the warranty is in no way applicable.
- It is important to note that the warranty does not apply if the SeaDek® product is damaged by the concentrated effect of the sun’s rays on the walls of the boat, by a cigarette or any other heat source.
- CMD Marine Products guarantees the accuracy of measurements only if they are carried out by CMD Marine Products. If the customer provides his own measurements, CMD Marine Products disclaims all liability regarding possible measurement errors made by the customer.
- If the customer decides to perform their own installations, they are entirely responsible for the installation of the SeaDek® product.
- Once the drawings are approved and the SeaDek® cuts made by CMD Marine Products, the no-refund and no-exchange policy applies.
